Negatieve beelden, niet goed functionerende gedachten of opvattingen en negatieve gevoelens veranderen. Er gaat letterlijk wat uit je rugzak dat je niet meer met je mee hoeft te dragen. Wel dat het werkt. We halen jouw nare traumatische gebeurtenissen uit je langere termijn geheugen naar je werkgeheugen. We laten \u00e9\u00e9n voor \u00e9\u00e9n je associaties opkomen, voegen een stimulus eraan toe waarna de associatie zonder lading terug gaat naar je langere termijn geheugen. Bij angsten en fobie\u00ebn behandelen we verschillende momenten die gekoppeld zijn aan deze angst\/ fobi\u00eb.<\/p><p>EMDR is een vorm van psychotherapie die verschillende succesvolle elementen van andere therapie\u00ebn integreert in combinatie met afleidende stimulus. Op basis daarvan doe ik een screening om te kijken of jij bij mij op de juiste plek bent voor jouw vraag.<\/p><p>Aan de hand van draagkrachttesten die ik na ons telefonisch contact naar jou mail doe ik opnieuw een screening. Ik bekijk of er voldoende draagkracht bij jou is om met EMDR te kunnen starten. Het kan ook zijn dat het belangrijk is om eerst te kijken hoe we jou sterker kunnen maken door positieve gevoelens en hulpbronnen te installeren of dat ik je adviseer om EMDR elders een onderdeel te effectief mits deskundig toegepast. De screening vooraf is erg belangrijk. Als we van start gaan, zorg ik ervoor dat jij je veilig, vertrouwd en je op je gemak voelt. De methodiek wordt gevolgd aan de hand van steeds dezelfde stappen.
